My students need a bright and colorful rug with space for movement.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My Kindergarten classroom is located in an urban public school in Worcester, MA. In Kindergarten, we are all about building skills and relationships using a developmental approach to learning. The students come to school each day eager to explore, learn, and have fun! They participate in a variety of hands-on activities which allows them to build their motor skills as well as academic skills. One of my goals each day is to provide my curious and thoughtful little learners with a safe, welcoming, and fun classroom.
My students enjoy listening to stories, sharing their thoughts and ideas, playing games, and singing and dancing together. A beautiful and colorful rug will provide them with space they need to participate in our daily classroom activities. This rug also includes large letters of the alphabet which will help them with their phonemic awareness.
A large rug is a key area of a Kindergarten classroom.
It is used for the morning meeting, shared reading, calendar, weather, math, music, and floor time fun!
Please consider helping my students by providing them with a large and colorful rug to give them the extra space they need to grow and learn.
