My Project

I work primarily with students with autism, mild intellectual disabilities, communication disorders, and significant developmental delays. I brought my son’s iPad to school today to use during speech therapy, and they were so engaged! They were so excited and motivated by the concepts and sentence building we did on the iPad. I would love to have one that I can always have at school with me, and to have fresh ways to teach them. There are so many speech therapy apps to target articulation, language concepts, sentences building, and vocabulary. I have tried doing it on my laptop, and it just doesn’t work for them. These kids are so much fun, and I love when they have successes!
