My Students
8th grade is the best! My 8th graders come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Our school is a Title I school. We're a suburban community that pulls students from a a wide range of neighborhoods.
My 8th graders are on the edge between childhood and adulthood; they are so ready to soar.
In middle school, each day brings them closer to discovering who they're going to be. Each day gives them an opportunity to grow into responsible, respectful adults.
My Project
My computer and our projector are used every single day. I use it to present, kids use it to display their work, we use it together to view videos and write together. I am asking for a portable document camera, so we can easily display pictures and writing for everyone to see. I am also asking for a portable mouse, keyboard, and clicker so that my students can use my computer from their seat.
My students can be the teacher from their seat!
Instead of constantly having kids take turns using my computer from my desk, they can work the teacher station from their desk!
