All of my students are 3rd - 5th graders and have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Each of them have amazing and unique personalities and shine brightly in their own way. Each student meets the school day with curiosity, excitement and enthusiasm.
The needs of each of my exceptional students is very different, as are the materials needed to meet those needs.
A variety of sensory items and manipulatives are very important to keep my students engaged and successful in their learning environment.
My Project
These items will make such a difference in the day to day events within out classroom. With the upcoming cold and flu season Kleenex, Lysol spray and Clorox wipes will help keep us healthy and happy. The pencils, paper, and paint will be used daily for instructional activities. Paint cups will give our students the opportunity to create with more independence.
Although theses items may seem small, they make a BIG difference to us and each will be used daily!
Items such as the door bell and crunch slime mix will give our students the opportunity to learn and be motivated in new and exciting ways.
