This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard working and ready to learn. They need new and updated technology to improve their learning experience. My 6th graders are an exciting bunch of students. They are curious, they are always asking questions, and they love to learn.

I teach in an urban public charter school in Oklahoma that predominately serves Hispanic students (about 90% or so of our student population).

They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am asking for is to create math station where students are able to use technology and math together. They will be able to have a station where they are able to log in and do math. All students will have the opportunity to learn how to use technology properly in a classroom setting.

My class is in the process in starting an online math program where students can continually practice math throughout the year.

With the help of these Chromebooks, all students will be able to practice skills that they need to know all year long.
