My Students

I teach Kindergarten! I think that says it all! I have the sweetest, cutest, and happiest group of kids you will ever meet! They make me smile every day! My students attend a K-5 neighborhood school in a small town. We are also a Title I school and most of my students come from low socioeconomic environments. Yet, even though they have limited resources, my students have a great passion for education!

As with all students, my kinder-kids have diverse learning styles.

Some are visual learners, some are auditory learners, some learn best through reading and writing, and some are kinesthetic learners.

My students love to watch, listen, and participate in hands-on activities. They simply love to learn, and I want to provide experiences for them here in our classroom.

My Project

I want to help keep my classroom clean, sanitized, and safe for my students. After a full day of Kindergarten learning, my classroom is in desperate need of cleaning. Our fantastic custodians have enough on their hands trying to keep the entire school clean and I want to help out by being able to vacuum my classroom everyday.

We track in a huge amount of dirt when we come in from recess.

I want my students to be able to enjoy the fresh air while also being able to keep our classroom clean. The remote Roomba vacuum would help keep things clean and tidy. Since COVID, we are spending the majority of our day in the classroom. We eat breakfast, lunch, and snack in the classroom. Having a clean space to learn, eat, and drink in is very important.
