My children are amazing. We have 20 children in our classroom with different disabilities. We serve low-income families in the Madison County area. We also serve several foster students in our classroom.
We have a classroom of children with big imaginations that are eager to learn.
We thrive to have a classroom where the children feel safe and loved. We want to create a classroom family where everyone feels at home. Each day is fulfilling as we watch each child learn and grow.
My Project
Help me give my students new musical instruments to build on their math, cognitive, and sensory experiences. We are asking for rhythm sticks, ankle bells, and instruments. We are also asking for CDs for music and movement time.
Music is important for children's development because it helps build connections to both sides of their brain.
Music is important to me and my students. It is our favorite time of the day. We will use the rhythm sticks to learn different beats, counting, and forming letters. Help me give CDs so my students can move and dance. This will help develop their gross motor development.
