My students are warriors! They come to school ready to learn. They are kind, hard-working, and silly. Many students in my room access special education services, second language services, or counseling services. They make being in a big class look easy. Substitute teachers ask to come back time and time again because this group rocks!

My Project
Children deserve to be heard and deserve quality instruction. Big class sizes can present many challenges. One of the biggest challenges is the ability to hear each and every voice during classroom discussions. If we had a wireless microphone system, everyone would be heard!
A wireless microphone system will increase student engagement and will allow everyone to participate comfortably in class discussions.
It will allow students with softer voices to be heard during class discussions. Students feel like professionals when they have a microphone. It will help them look forward to class conversations!
The teacher will benefit by using the microphone as well. Speaking at a lower volume will save energy and vocal chords during direct instruction. Everybody wins when everyone is heard!
