Help me give my students safe, up-to-date, stackable chairs that will allow us to utilize the library space for small groups, individual classes, and family events.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
In our Title I public elementary school, more than 75% of our students would qualify for free or reduced-rate lunches. Our students come from diverse backgrounds representing twenty different countries.
My students look forward to using the library to explore the many resources that provide a way for them to see themselves in literature, participate in fun educational activities, and utilize the safe haven that our library provides for all students to think, create, share, and grow.
My Project
Stackable, plastic and chrome chairs that are size appropriate and safe, will promote well-being, reduce distractions, and help us utilize the library space for multiple activities and school community events. The stackable chairs will accompany the flip top nesting tables that we will be adding to the library, replacing the wooden tables and chairs that we currently own.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase student academic achievement and promote engagement in a variety of activities within the library space.
