Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most of my students were not able to afford to bring basic school supplies to school. I believe that each student deserves to have the basic supplies. These materials will replace old, broken, and well-loved materials that we have been sharing or that we just don't have.
I believe every student deserves the right to learn with their own materials.
My students LOVE to use markers, colored pencils, and crayons to enhance their learning, but currently, we have to share old broken ones.
We have gone through all the classroom supplies that I was able to fund solely on my own at this time, but we still have a lot of learning left to accomplish.
