Help me give my students access to technology to support their learning, as many do not have access to online learning programs (compatible devices, reliable WiFi, etc.) at home, especially during Distance Learning.

Last year I had the honor of teaching these incredible scholars in grade 3, and this year I looped to 4th grade with them.
I love their energy and desire to learn as it drives me to come in each day with more excitement myself.
Most of them are from low-income families where they are a major helping hand with younger siblings or household tasks. Mornings and evenings aren't the easiest for many of them, but in our classroom,
they oftentimes find motivation to put forth a great effort. When they struggle to do so, I'm quick to give a little boost with some words of encouragement or remind them of times when they've done something amazing and made me super proud.
There are days when a student may totally give up on themselves, and may be overwhelmed by thoughts of responsibilities at home, or stressed about academic challenges they face. It happens, but one thing I absolutely love about this group is that they will check on each other and offer support to their classmates. That support may be social/emotional, or it may be academic, but it's always so pleasant to witness. We're truly a family!
Each of my scholars and their families want to see the absolute best academic growth possible, even during distance learning. Currently, we're supporting students by providing instruction digitally, both with live lessons and websites. Students who have technology at home, have been able to access everything, keeping their brains engaged. However, there is a significant number of students at my school, and within my class who have yet to log on due to not having a device to use at home. These laptops will make the impossible possible. We truly need your help. Please consider donating so that a few of my scholars don't have a significant interruption in their 4th grade academic year.
