Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 18 students who are outgoing, energetic, fun-loving little boys and girls. They come in every morning eager to learn new things and interact/talk with their peers.
My students all come from different backgrounds, cultures, and abilities/needs but come together every day to play and connect as a whole class. They are all so welcoming and accepting of each other which is very much needed during these times.
My Project
I have some very artistic, creative, and hands-on students this year that are yearning to let their creativity come to life. With that being said, our art center is lacking some inspirational materials.
Every child is an artist and it is up to us to fuel the fire of their creativity by providing the means. The arts and crafts center will allow students the independence to create as they like by having access to different types of materials.
The stencils, markers, and trays will give them the ability to not only create but learn through their creation as well.
