My students love to write, illustrate and create! They have the most unique ideas and ways they look at the world. I want to inspire this creativity by offering them the tools they need to be successful!

My Project
Students need resources to create and imagine in the classroom. Every child is an artist! In the day and age we live in, children often do not have the opportunities to use their imaginations to create, even in the classroom. Our school is a Title I funded school, and many of our students do not have access to the materials and experiences that other kids may have. Providing this in the classroom gives them a chance to be as successful as anyone else. We need to keep the arts alive in our classrooms!
I want to give my students every opportunity and resource available so they can always believe in their abilities to dream and create.
I am asking for construction paper. We are running very low on construction paper and many of the lessons I do with my students, even if it is literacy or math lesson involve the use of construction paper for kids to create. I also am asking for clipboards for our students. For some time we would add these to the classroom beginning of year supply lists, but many of our students could not afford the materials on the list, so we are asking for the donation to help these students to be able to have these for the classroom. I like to get kids up and moving, and the clipboards are a perfect way for them to be able to travel and write!
