Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Salutations AMAZING donors! What a great but challenging year it's been! The end of the school year is fastly approaching and my class need innovative supplies to keep them thriving...

Being a new teacher isn't easy.

Somedays I'm sick, the next day, I'm crying like a baby, and most days, just plain exhausted from the work load, lol. Thankfully, I have managed to push through all the trials and tribulations and can admit, every challenge has been worthwhile because I get the chance to do something others can't do often and that's make a huge impact in the lives of children.

Each morning I wake up, I wake up with a new mindset. I embrace a new day, fresh start, and new opportunities to help my scholars reach their fullest potential. I'm elated to cultivate and transform dreams into reality and proud to become the FIRST "Teacher of Promise" at my campus! This journey has been incredible and looking forward to many more!
