Every Book Needs a Home

My students need a big book stand to hold all of our classroom big books. In kindergarten having access to books is crucial to student success. This stand will provide all of our books a home.

My Students

This is my fourth year teaching kindergarten. Each year my students come from a variety of backgrounds. Despite these differing backgrounds, all of my students have extremely kind hearts and truly love to learn.

My students come to school each day excited and eager to learn new information.

Every day, I strive to create a safe, loving classroom environment. My students understand that we are a family and we help each other. Each morning, I come to school to be the best teacher possible to help my students become the best, most successful people possible.

My Project

Kindergarten is all about teaching children how to read and building an excitement for literacy. There is no better way to build reading excitement than through the use of books and read alouds. My classroom, has many big books; however, I do not have appropriate storage for these awesome books. Without appropriate storage, students and myself are not able to utilize these big books appropriately. My students are missing out on valuable literature due to the lack of storage. This big book stand would provide my classroom with needed storage as well as allow all students to easily access these books.

This big book organizer could open up numerous literacy possibilities within my classroom.

Not only would this big book stand provide needed storage, it would allow my to conduct read alouds easier, and provide my students with an additional reading center.
