Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All my students are English Language Learners in grade 3. My students come to me every day eager to learn. Their enthusiasm sets the tone for our learning, and it is always the highlight of the day.
Our school is nestled in the heart of Rhode Island and is the forefront of leadership in providing our English Language Learners the support to be successful in an educational setting.
I provide them support, tools, and strategies to become successful lifelong learners.
My Project
Students need PPE such as masks and hand sanitizers to be safe in class as well as at home. Being safe and healthy is more important than ever during this pandemic. PPE will be used at school and will also be sent home for those students who are showing a need for them at home. Each student will be given their own supply bag for the classroom as well as to help with home extension assignments and activities. It will provide students the necessary support tools to be successful at school and at home.
