Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Coming to school is a safe haven for our students on campus. A majority of my students are Hispanic or Latino, in which 95% of the class is economically disadvantaged and qualify for free lunch. Many of my students have faced hardships that no ten year old child should ever face. Despite those hardships, come to school with a smile on their face.
Many of my students’ families rent out a bedroom and all live in the bedroom together.
Most of my students do not have a lot. They have clothes and some basic toys. I want to give my students a classroom that students are excited to walk into with classroom where they have supplies to be successful and stay healthy.
My Project
It is important to give my students a safe and healthy environment to learn in. I would love to have a diffuser and essential oils to use in my classroom. Essential oils have a variety of benefits to help my students be successful. I don’t want my students to miss school because they are sick.
I want to boot my students’ immunity so that they are healthy enough to attend school every day.
I think the benefits of a diffuser and essential oils will be loved by all my students. Depending on the needs of the class, will determine which oils we use in class.
