Most of our students either live in a shelter or they are in crowded apartments or homes with little to no means to provide for themselves or family. Providing for these students will help alleviate the stress of having essential supplies at home to allow them to be successful.
So many of our students need the essential items to be able to practically survive and cope with the mounting stress of having little to no supplies and to be successful with schoolwork on top of anxiety and depression that affects them during the pandemic.
Hopefully, by providing these students with care packages, it will let them know that our school community is looking out to help and that we genuinely care about them and their families well being.
My Project
I'm creating care packages for my students' families as many of them do not have the means to purchase essential items needed for daily living. These supplies will help ease the burden of trying to find the time and resources in order to have theses supplies that are so vital to daily living.
These packages will be put together and they will be mailed to individual student families in need to provide them with the essential supplies needed for daily living.
By having these resources delivered to the students and families, will also reduce the stress that comes along with not having enough money to buy supplies on their own.
