My Students

My class is made up of twenty-four unique, kind-hearted, creative kids. They love to work together on projects and use technology to creatively showcase their understanding. My class has a wide range of learners.

My students attend a low-income, ethnically diverse school in Haverhill, Massachusetts where 56.3% of the student population come from economically disadvantaged homes and qualify for free or reduced price lunch.

My Project

As I embark on a new journey of teaching second grade this year, I want to make sure my students have everything they need to start the school year off right. This project will give my students a cozy place to do independent reading, some books to help guide them into becoming better readers and writers and some essential Kleenex tissues to get us through cold and flu season. Hoping to welcome my new students back to a classroom filled with everything they need to learn and grow during the 2021-2022 academic school year.
