This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are part of the Scholastic Esports Club and the Academy of Information Technology. They use gaming to excite younger kids into information technology. They go into elementary and middle schools and engage in different activities to get more underrepresented student populations in Information Technology.

The game console PS5 will be added to the gaming lab and also be used in any community events we hold.

My students use gaming to bring more students into our IT Academy. My students love the service learning aspect of the club to bring more opportunities to the club.
