This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Establishing esports in schools enables students to do what they love and provides them with additional opportunities to earn recognition while developing priceless critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Students build character and develop discipline, self-esteem, and sportsmanship through practice and competition.

School-sponsored esports leagues can foster positive interactions and friendships among students, teach teamwork and communication skills, provide opportunities to build leadership skills, and create a sense of belonging for students.

With these Nintendo Switches, our students can dive into the esports world and begin to compete in local esports tournaments.
