This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My ELL students are humble, kind, and love to learn new things. My students come mostly from Puerto Rico that has been devastated by natural disasters over the last few years. They struggle with poverty, learning a new language, and acclimating to a whole new culture. There are many resources to help them learn a new language and explore their new culture. The items I have chosen will enhance our classroom, make it a more welcoming and better learning environment.

My Project

Our English Language Learners s need to work on their Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. These headphones and the recorders will definitely make the first two domains much easier.

These tools will allow my students to work with the many interactive language programs we have available to help them practice their language skills.

The voice recorders will allow my students to record their own voices and listen to themselves speak. These devices will help my students develop better skills every day. Practice makes perfect and these devices will help my language learners perfect their voices, their speaking styles, and their listening skills.
