My students need Breakout Edu kits to work on working collaboratively and creatively while learning across the content areas. They would also benefit from flexible seating options in the classroom.
Each morning I welcome the most amazing 5th graders into my classroom. They come to school each day excited and ready to learn, and I feel truly blessed to have such a kind group of students to work with throughout the school year.

My students love to collaborate and communicate in unique ways, and my challenge is to keep them excited and engaged in a unique manner. Each student brings their very best self to class and puts their best foot forward with each assignment/task given!
My Project
My students are doing a wonderful job living in the 21st century, and they would benefit from more hands on learning experience. I have researched escape classroom kits, and have decided to make my own for use in the classroom.
Through your generous donations, my students will have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers in order to "escape" all the while learning valuable content.
It has been proven that students learn better through hands on activities, and what better way to help increase the engagement in the classroom through the use of an escape room.
My plan this year is to have the students learn about the United States regions through helping a fictional character learn about his/her ancestry. Once I have the kits, I can also create escape rooms based on Exploration, Colonization, and the American Revolutionary War.
