Help me give my students musical instruments that look and work like they are brand-new.

We are a vibrant Title I middle school in San Jose, with almost 500 students in grades 6-8. We are a close-knit community, with many of our families having lived in this area for several years.
We are a small district, with 3 elementary schools, one middle school and one K-8 school.
Our teachers, staff, parents and community do our very best to bring the best educational experience to all of our students.
Getting together to play music, even virtually, has been a bright spot for myself and my Band students. Almost all of our students are borrowing instruments, free of charge, from our district. Our instruments are aging, but high quality: I liken them to "classic cars" that run great, but most could use a little restoration. Distance learning has offered me the opportunity to set up a repair workshop at home to revamp our instrument inventory and return our broken instruments back to working order.
Thanks to donations from Donors Choose donors, I have been able to repair all of our clarinets and am now ready to restore our flute and trumpet mouthpiece collection.
After years of being dropped on the floor, rolling out the dents from our flute and trumpet mouthpieces will greatly improve the look and sound of our instruments.
A vise, mandrel and roller will allow me to roll-out the dents in our flute and trumpet mouthpieces, so they will not only look better, but fit better into our instruments.
It's difficult to watch a student have to sit out from playing when their instrument isn't working properly.
By keeping our spare inventory in good repair, I will always have a few extras to lend-out to students while I repair their old one. Please help us to purchase the supplies we need to repair our inventory and keep these instruments available for even more students to use. Thank you for helping to keep the music playing!
