My Students

Have you or your friends ever been bullied? Have you or your friends ever bullied anyone?

I teach second grade at a public school in an impoverished area in Philadelphia.

I have a class of students who love to learn. They are very sweet, and everyone who meets them falls in love with them. Once in a while, someone in my classroom and school bullies another child and makes them cry. This breaks my heart. It would be my dream to end bullying at my school and in my classroom.

My Project

I am requesting the book Bullying In Schools for our classroom library. In addition, I am also requesting a Nook so that we can download additional books about bullying. Lastly, I am requesting storage containers for our Bullying collection. We need the materials to help us end bullying in our classroom in order to give my students a safer environment.

I am also hoping to get storage containers for our bullying books. I hope to teach my students how to respect one another.
