Color changes everything! Help us to turn our black and white world into one of bright colors with erasable highlighters!
My elementary aged students live in an urban, low-income city comprised largely of immigrant families.
Many of my students speak a language other than English at home. Despite the challenges that they face, the students in my school are consistently eager to learn and enthusiastic about new and exciting learning opportunities. My English Language Learners represent a range of abilities and learning styles. Often an individual student or group of students require additional support, differentiated resources, or more practice with a skill or concept. All of my students benefit from visual aids. Through the use of erasable highlighters my students will be able to read, take notes, or edit their writing more effectively.
English Language Learners often struggle with vocabulary, syntax, and grammar development. Erasable highlighters will enable my students to color code parts of speech, clearly see language patterns, zoom in on unknown phrases or words in a text, and keep track of edits they want to do to their own writing. The Pilot FriXion Erasable Highlighters also enables students to independently grapple with the English Language because they have the support of being able to erase their highlighting work if done incorrectly without fear of ruining their books or work.
Erasable highlighters provide the ability to grow and learn from your mistakes without shame.
Please help my students improve their English by supporting them in obtaining this amazing resource for them!
