My students are some of the hardest working individuals I know. In spite of the difficult and impoverished conditions they face, their perseverance through their personal problems and their commitment to education empowers me daily.
I would love to further their learning opportunities with extra resources and expand both the rigor and amusement of my instruction.

My Project
My ESL students push themselves each and every day, despite unfortunately being inconvenienced by the language barrier. I have an undeniable devotion to reading. Since my early childhood, reading has been one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling experiences to partake in. I strive to embed this passion into my students daily. This project would help immerse my ESL students into the reading classroom culture I have established. My students are able to check out Spanish books from the library, but I want to fill our classroom library with an equal amount of Spanish books as there are English books. These resources would greatly further my classroom towards my goal!
