My students need general foam balls for a wide variety of games and activities. The foam balls and softballs are soft and will not hurt any student during play and games.
Students are better learners when they are able to be physically active throughout the day. Our students are encouraged how to be physically active when they are in PE. Our goal is to move, move, move!

Our school has gone from a large 4th and 5th grade building to a K-5 learning community. Students are able to come to PE and are encouraged to become and stay physically active. We are trying to rebuild our equipment room!
Our school has a large population of students who are free/reduced lunch. They may not have access to many of the games/activities they participate in during the school year. As PE teachers, we hope to give them a little background information about many different activities!
My Project
The use of the Sportime Technoskin foam balls and Sportime softballs selected for our project will allow our students to play a wide variety of games, such as Battleship, softball and soccer, without our students getting hurt using a traditional rubber or hard ball. These activities need softer materials to use and handle. Each activity incorporates students throwing the ball at a target. The foam balls and softballs allow students to grasp the ball a little bit tighter to ensure they have a good grip and are throwing toward their target. Students easily grab and throw the foam balls as well as the softballs. The softer foam balls are easier to catch as well. We want our students to be active and play each game without any hesitation of being hurt!
We are in an equipment rebuild year and we need to refill our equipment room for our students!!
As we move to our new K-5 communities, equipment was split between buildings. We are running low on the Sportime Technoskin and Sportime Softballs for our students. Each item serves it own purpose in many different games, as listed above. They can be used for specific games and activities or added into stations and throwing assessments. Please HELP!
