This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in an inner-city school where there is 100% free or reduced-price lunch. My students understand hardships and know what it’s like to not have anything. I want them to be able to come to school and have fun with the equipment and learn new and exciting games in PE. But unfortunately, I don’t have much to work with. teamwork is my first year teaching here and there isn’t much on equipment to fulfill my dreams for them.

My Project

I am trying to teach these students life lessons on being healthy and fun activities that can open doors into their future. I feel that these kids have so much untapped potential, and I want to bring light to it.

We have minimal equipment right now, and I am trying everything I can to change that.

As a PE teacher, I need equipment to teach my students the importance of being and maintaining our health. I love sports and its a great way of teaching kids about having fun and staying healthy.

With these footballs and basketballs, I can start showing them a few ways to keep positive attitudes and team work.
