My students are great and love learning new things in my classes. I teach hands-on classes and students get to learn real-world skills they can use in their jobs after high school. These students are building professional-quality portfolios from the projects completed in class.
COVID has been challenging for both students and teachers.
Due to COVID budgets are limited and it's been more difficult to purchase equipment needed for the students.
I teach multiple photography classes and some students aren't able to purchase a cameras to use for the course projects. This camera purchase will immediately be checked-out to a student for the semester to complete their photography class. Each semester after this one, a different student will be able to use the camera for years to come.
Having cameras for students to take home with them immediately raises the quality of their work, gives them more confidence, and helps them learn a valuable skill they can use in a future job.
