My students are active learners from different backgrounds and with different needs. They are a young bunch, and need constant engagement to keep focused and willing to learn. Kindergarten is the age when kids begin exploring their academics with excitement!
With the right resources, we can create a learning environment in which all types of learners can benefit.
In kindergarten, most teachers are faced with the difficulty of having a very wide range of learners. When teachers are given tools to enhance their lessons, the possibilities for learning grow.
My Project
Having an amplification system that works in the classroom helps all students hear the teacher and the student who is speaking through speakers strategically placed in the classroom.
By using this infrared classroom audio system, my students will be able to hear instructions from all over the classroom.
In addition, with less need to increase the volume in my voice I will be able to deliver my instruction with a softer, calmer voice. The hope is that this calmer environment will create less stress and anxiety in the students, and will encourage more relaxed and peaceful surroundings so learning will be the focus. Instead of struggling to hear the teacher through classroom noise, the kids will not have to strain to hear me!
