This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Teaching 3 grades at the same time takes a lot of differentiation. It is important to be able to print work on different levels that meet all my students' diverse learning modalities.

I teach 12 wonderful kindergarten, first, and second grade students in a self contained classroom located in a Title 1 school on the Lower East Side.

Their academic disabilities range and they require many hands-on activities which require a lot of printing in both black and white and color.

My Project

I will be able to have the resources available to meet my students' academic needs without having to wait for ink. Many supplemental activities need to be created by me and printed in order to help my students learn in a tactile and visual manner. Having ink at our disposal leads to teaching seamless lessons.

My students will be exposed to a plethora of non-fiction articles to use for reading and hands-on activities and games to use during math.

Supplemental materials will be readily available for the students by pressing "print".
