My Students

My students are amazing! They have been working hard to cope with the changes and adjustments with covid-19 and done so beautifully! As technology has taken a front seat in education, needs have changed and the students have largely adapted beautifully! They are kind, reslient, and great learners. My 8th grade students are an amazing example to me and everyone around them!

My Project

Often because of the lack of supplies students need to watch demonstrations instead of doing the science themselves. Our hope is that by adding these tools, we can increase the opportunities for the students to complete the experiments themselves!

The ability for students to collect and analyze their own data is what science learning is all about!

Students being able to hypothesize, collect their data, and then analyze the data they have collected! We hope to have the students weigh, heat, and measure temperature in their experiments so they can analze data that they have collected, themselves. When students own their data, they will be more likely to remember the experience and understand how the process of experiementation and proper analysis works.
