I serve students with disabilities in the third grade. The students thrive when given the opportunity to participate in hands on experiments and learning. We would like to start our own garden to engage the students in science curriculum. Your donation will really help with their learning.
My students have mild/moderate disabilities and are in separate class in a public facility.
The students love learning and are eager to start their own garden at school. We would like to be able to eventually grow vegetables and flowers in order to sell them at school for profit to benefit the classroom.
My Project
The garden and animals will encourage the students to become responsible. When working in the garden they will learn cooperation with one another and respect for the environment. They know the importance of taking care of the environment so all can live happy! When taking care of the frogs, students will also learn about the care and importance of feeding pets.
Your donation will make a difference in the lives of my students because it will provide them with opportunities for learning inside and outside of the classroom.
