Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students come to school every day with smiles on their faces. They are dreamers and believers. Many of them are minority students who are living in poverty and being raised by one parent or an older sibling. My classroom is a safe place. Here, they feel loved, valued and important. Their education is our priority and they respect us for that. I love that they are eager to learn and they persevere even when times are trying. They challenge themselves to be the best that they can be. I love that they set goals for themselves and hold themselves to high standards and expectations.
My Project
The materials I am requesting are to be able to enrich and challenge my students daily. Due to COVID, my class is online. Many of the materials I am using online come from TPT and it's very costly for me to afford everything I use in the classroom.
Due to online learning, my students are experiencing a new world of learning.
As I teach each unit, I provide them with digital games, practices, and enrichment activities that will enhance their understanding of the concepts being taught. I find those resources on TPT but I am unable to fund every resource. This is why I am asking for you to help me by donating a token into our classroom fund. I thank you for your generosity.
