My students are so unique in their own ways! They LOVE sports and are very competitive with one another in the classroom. As a whole, their favorite subject is math. It was something I noticed during the first week of school.
They also love doing group STEM projects and working with each other.
Their favorite activity is building the tallest tower with dry spaghetti and marshmallows. We participated in a post card exchange this year, and the students were ecstatic to get "snail mail" from a classroom in each state!
The materials will help me provide my students with quality learning experiences in their center rotations every day. The addition learning locks will be used to reinforce addition skills. The addition and subtraction boards will be used to help students memorize their addition and subtraction facts, which is a crucial skill to have when we begin two and three digit addition and subtraction. The daily learning journals will be used every single day and help me reinforce necessary skills. Daily learning journals are an easy way for me to constantly go over basic skills that the students need.
