Help me give my students a book in their hand to help teach the North Carolina literacy standards. These books will help to enrich the standards.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are part of a North Carolina classroom in Vass that is filled with engaging lessons and happy faces. Our classroom is more like a family unit where we care about each other and work daily on not only academics but also making personal connections with each other.
We're a part of a rural community with a lot of military connected families.
Our classroom is made up of a variety of backgrounds that make our classroom family unit unique.
The "I Survived" series of novels have thoroughly enlightened my readers especially the boys in each of my blocks.
Novels in the classroom are great ways to help readers, whether they struggle or not, strengthen their vocabulary, build their own personal reading confidence and stamina, as well as develop a deeper appreciation and love for reading!
Please help us equip my classes with their own copy of this novel! Students will get to read at their own pace as well as use the novel for vocabulary and comprehension studies. This narrative non-fiction text is great for learning the 4th grade standards.
