Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Learning through the exploration of the world around you is one of the most meaningful ways you can learn. Image having the ability to learn about the whole world and not have to leave your classroom.
My students are third graders in Arizona.
We have such a limited view of the world without technology that is readily available to most people. However when you do not have the resources to have technology at your finger tips you are at a disadvantage.
My Project
By having a computer to use in the classroom it will give my students learning opportunities that they will remember the rest of their lives. We will be able to Skype, actively participate in classroom blogs, and learn about computer science. With technology being the fastest growing industry the longer these student go without technology the further they will be behind.
A computer would be eye opening for a classroom of students who do not have technology at home.
It will give my students the chance to take charge of learning and explore. The benefits are endless with a computer and it will get endless opportunities.
