A typical day in our classroom is full of laughter, learning, collaboration, and hands on activities. Although my students have a variety of resources for learning, my goal is to maximize their growth and love for learning through highly engaging, content rich activities.
My students are highly motivated to explore multiple ways of learning and crave diversity in lesson delivery.
They work best when learning hands on and collaborating with each other. My school has many resources provided to students included Chromebook carts to share. With the Chromebooks, students are able to complete various differentiated lessons while they are engaged. Because there are a variety of resources available through technology, students take turns completing many lessons through a Chromebook, which they love.
My Project
Since there are a plethora of resources available through technology, the iPad will serve many purposes in the classroom. One activity that will become possible with the iPad is the opportunity to use educational apps to further support their reading and math skills. These apps provide engaging and differentiated learning opportunities for my students. The iPad will also be used as another Internet resource where students can research and access their google drive accounts for classroom projects.
With the highly engaging and differentiated way to learn, students will continue to grow well beyond their previous non technology-based learning.
Adding more technology like an iPad, my students will be better prepared for the 21st century technology learning.
