Enriched Learning Through Technology in First Grade
My students need tablets, an interactive white board system, and a document camera to have more interactive and exciting activities to meet their educational needs.
The students in my classroom are ON FIRE for learning! They are eager to expand their brains and reach the peaks of their highest achievable goals! In order to keep this interest and love for education, my hope is to provide more hands on activities. Using technology will help us achieve this goal!
The shining students in my classroom are just that, shining!
They are awesome. They are eager for knowledge and just when you think you've fed them enough, they want more!
As a teacher, it is my job and desire to push my students to higher levels, to advance them beyond what they thought they were capable of, and to inspire them with the hopes of what could be.
The students in my classroom are very active learners. My students learn best through hands on activities and technology. Our days are filled with excitement and learning, but I know there is more. Bringing technology into our classroom will enable us to have more exciting hands on lessons and more tools for students to use in small groups.

With the kindle fire tablets we are requesting, the students will be more engaged in activities and skill practice (aside from the fact that it is a huge incentive piece already!) Also, the students will be able to connect with one another and use collaboration to complete activities.
With the interactive white board system, we will be able to turn our basic white board into an interactive board. Through this, we will be able to have more interactive and hands on lessons in the classroom, enabling students to gain an even stronger desire for knowledge!
Technology proves beneficial in many ways.
With technology in the classroom, student responsibility levels increase, as well as their independence levels, critical thinking skills, reasoning skills, visualizing and decision making skills. Aside from all of these, students want to use technology!
