Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I teach a total of 59 students. I have 29 first-graders in each DLI class. Our students come from a lower social-economic households. As a teacher I need to provide the materials for my students in order for them to be successful.

We are writing a DonorsChoose.org request to get both classroom supplies, because of the situation living with COVID, students can not share material, they must have individual school supplies, in the middle of the school year we are in need of more crayons, papers, glues, some personal recipients for school stuff.

I know my students will enjoy having all this materials.

My Project

My students are in a dual language immersion class, they learn Spanish and English, having all this materials will help them understand and get involved in class knowing all the rules, routines, and materials. Also having the opportunity to get all this materials for each of my students will help them stay safe.

The products that I have selected will help my students know where to put their materials and respect each other's stuff.

Also coins rewards for Spanish class will let them buy some prices this motivates them still learning the language and try even if it's hard for them.
