My students make up an interesting cultural group that makes the classroom environment a very pleasant place to teach. My students' backgrounds include the United States, South America, Central America, and Europe.
With a large population of students from multicultural groups, my school ensures to provide them current research-based strategies and provides extended extracurricular activities such as sports, the arts, languages and more.
I am proud to be part of such a wonderful institution that focuses on enriching the students' experiences in many aspects.
My students need Chromebook computers to engage in science research activities incorporating technology. As a tech teacher that I am, I will take the opportunity to teach my fourth-grade students how to use Microsoft Office applications such as word, powerpoint, excel and outlook. In addition, this project will help my students have access to technology to conduct research in science and literature, create powerpoint presentations, work in collaboration with others and create reports that can be shared electronically. As they soon will become middle-school students, I want to make sure I prepare my students to have the necessary knowledge on how to use contemporary online research techniques and be prepared for successful middle-school learning experiences.
This resource will definitely boost my students' interest in learning through researching and using modern technology.
I will be very pleased seeing my students experiencing school and learning in a more dynamic, modern and engaging way.
