Enhancing Pre-K Learning through Play & Exploration
Help me give my students the materials need to enhance their learning experience. In the Pre-K classroom we learn through play and exploration help us to achieve our Pre-K goals as well as build social skills.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 4-year-old children with a variety of intellectual, physical, and sensory levels in a public school setting. My mission is to provide and set the foundation of learning for all young children through interaction and play. We work with each student individually to provide a developmentally appropriate learning opportunity.
I would like to help provide all my students with as many resources and opportunities to learn and grow!
As their teacher I want to make sure that I help build a firm foundation in their individual educational journey.
My Project
As stated previously Pre-k students learn through play and exploration. As an early educator, it is my job to facilitate developmentally appropriate learning.
The Pre-K classroom essentially sets the foundation of the school age learning.
We use the Creative Curriculum, a research based curriculum focusing on several different studies including trees, clothes, buildings, balls, and reduce, reuse, and recycle. We are currently concluding our Tree Study and will begin studying about clothes.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
