Every day is an adventure, and every day is a great day! My classroom is comprised of 20 diverse learners; 11 females and 9 males; Six special education students, and fourteen inquisitive and eager students enter my classroom with a smile on their face each day.
My Title I students need to be provided the opportunity to make relevant, real-world learning connections preparing them to be successful in their future career.
Over 75% of my 20 students receiving Free/Reduced-price Lunch are ready to obtain experiences they have never incurred due to their low socioeconomic background.
Who wants to sit in a boring chair all day? I know I don’t! My student need comfortable seating to allow them to be engaged in their learning all day. Research shows, when students are comfortable they are more focused.
The bean bag chairs I have chosen will help me create a positive, fun, learning environment for students to succeed academically and socially.
Students are constantly leaning back in their chairs and sitting on their knees to get comfortable in a boring, regular chair. My fourth grade students will be more comfortable and focused using the bean bag chairs! As teachers, we have to find ways to promote student learning, and being comfortable is one of those ways.
