My third grade class of 20 students who come from a small, rural town in West Virginia. We are a large elementary school of around 700 students. Most of the students in our school come from a low socioeconomic background. All of the students at our school receive free lunch and breakfast every day. My students' ability levels range from above average to below average, and everything in between.
My students are eager to learn each and every day.
I want to be able to give my students a classroom environment that will enhance their learning and allow them to reach their full potential.
Math can be very difficult for many students. They often shut down when they don’t understand what is being taught. I want to help my students gain a love for math, and I feel these file folder and math games will help ignite the love of math.
Students will be having so much fun with these games and file folders, they won’t even realize how much they are learning.
During math centers, the students usually have game station. The multiplication file folders and math games will be used during that station. These station is always one of the favorite stations, and these items will be a great asset for this station. Thank you for all your help! My students and I really appreciate it!
