I need an iPad to participate in online professional development courses.

My high school is a vast network of students, staff and unlimited activities. I enjoy the urgency of helping students to achieve greatness in the classroom. In focusing on the students' goals, it is easy to put off some of my own.
While I can move well around a PC, I would like to learn how to use an iPad.
This is something that I have always wanted to do but never got a chance to. I am a high school English teacher. Apple has a history of developing apps that assist students with learning challenges. I would like to explore these possibilities.
To close my knowledge and skills gap, I will need an iPad to practice and participate in an online professional development course, the Apple Teacher program, where I can learn the fundamentals of the iPad, and how to integrate built-in apps to daily activities. To support new literacies and provide more ways to develop students’ critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, I can bring coding into my curriculum with Swift Playgrounds. As I continue to explore deeper learning opportunities, Apple Professional Learning Specialists will work with me side by side to innovate my teaching practices. This project will provide me with the new skills I need to take advantage of all of the powerful applications that the iPad platform has to offer. I will, and then am able to provide a new dimension of accommodations and instructional interventions in the classroom.
Donating to this project will allow me to receive the instruction that I need to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for my students.
Funding this project will fuel my growth as an instructor and my ability to meet all of my students' unique needs.
