Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students range from being Bilingual/ESL with a limited academic and socioeconomic background, to Spanish language learners.

I love their willingness and their thirst to learn new things.

I love how much eagerness and kindness they show for one another despite their many challenges and how this attitude promotes such a healthy and nurturing learning environment.

Most of my lessons are technology embedded and we benefit greatly from any online or digital resource available since I don't have a homeroom but instead travel around the school to visit their classrooms.

My Project

These digital tools will continue to enhance the online classroom that I strive to create. My digital classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy.

Most of the lessons are project-based and student-led.

We benefit greatly from any online or digital resource available. Said resources must be both safe and enriching and that's why this, that we are asking for, is so important for us.

By being able to have full access to their Quizlet accounts, they will be able to personalize their projects like upload their own content instead of vague templates and pictures. It'll also make it easier for me to monitor their activity and have full classroom teacher privileges.

Brain pop also plays a very important role in building their literacy skills. Said skills are fundamental for their academic growth.
