My Students

While some people look down on small school attendees, many don't understand the opportunities given to these students that aren't given to bigger schools. For the second year in the 38 year history of the AG program at my school, I am offering a Junior High Class.

The community is extremely excited about the new opportunities coming every year.

My students have a million ideas that they want to try especially with new technology and programs. What better way than to learn those things myself. I want to give my students every opportunity possible and not limit them. They are wanting to expand the program and their learning styles. Many of my students do not have access to internet let alone the technology I am wanting to expose them too!

My Project

While in the classroom, my students are always excited to learn new things especially the students taking AG Mechanics. These students have excelled in every unit we have been through so far this year. This is a Junior/Senior level class, with this majority of the students in the class are Juniors and are excited to take the class again next year. They are continuously asking me what we are going to be doing next and I believe the Ipad would be beneficial.

My AG Mechanics students are extremely technologically advanced and are pushing me to become a better educator.

When we got our CAD program for the Torchmate Plasma table these students downloaded the program on their own computers. They then proceeded to figure out the program within a week and out-preformed me as their instructor. Their are applications that Apple has, which I would find beneficial to enhance this classroom.
