In our enhanced autism classroom, we have about eight students this upcoming year, ranging from second grade to fifth grade in our classroom. Our students all range from different learning levels and skills, as well as require different needs. With this, we tend to require a variety of learning material to get them on track with what they need to be most successful in our classroom.
Our students can be very talkative and very expressive while others can be quieter.
We want our students to be able to express themselves to their full potential in our classroom and hope you all can help.
Our students love a verity of things. Some of our students are very hands-on; they love to build with legos, create and draw from their imagination. Some students love animals and create their own world with their imagination. Most of our students love hands-on toys and electronics that help them create what they are envisioning and our students love to read anything and everything from comic books, Disney books, animal books and much more.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated towards our goal in helping our students reach their full potential.
We have students from grades 2nd to 5th grade in our enhanced autism classroom. These materials will go to helping each of our students succeed to the best of their ability.
We would be using these items to help our students reach their full potential in our classroom.
The books chosen on our list were books that our students enjoy to read. Some of the items on our list help with fine motor skills for some of our students that need more help in those areas. Some of the items, like the kinetic sand, are to help with reinforcements that help reward our students for completing the tasks and work given to them, and some items like the legos help our students with building and expressing themselves. Some items on the list are there to help us organize our students and the work they complete, like the use of the rolling office organizer. Lastly, there are items on the list like file folders and velcro and other items to help us create learning material for our students.
Each of our students are unique and special in their own ways and we, as teachers, want them to reach their full potential in their learning abilities. They are all at different learning levels and have different things that motivate them. We want our students to learn to their highest abilities and reach their fullest potential.
Every item and every donation goes to helping our students learn and grow. Each of our students has their own unique learning abilities and we want these tools to help our students grow into the successful adults that they can be.
