My Students

The majority of our students do not come equipped with standard school supplies, proper clothes, and online resources.

I teach at a Title I school where over 70 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Our school educates over 600 ethnically and economically diverse students.

Despite so many obstacles, students come into the classroom ready to learn. I have a chance to reach 20 plus students academically and give them what they need to succeed. Success is not measured by where you come from but measured by ones acts to become successful.

My Project

Majority of my students are not on a fourth grade level. When I am teaching 4th grade skills, many of the students are lost and confused. This resource will help me reach the students while having fun.

These games are curriculum based and give students motivation to comprehend what they are reading.

As students compete to win, they will be learning important skills like; inferring information, understanding main idea, and increasing their vocabulary with a multitude of language art skills. Not only will students become richer in their academics, but games also encourage collaboration and team work among their peers.
